Shanghai - Suzhou - Huzhou Railway

The new Shanghai-Suzhou-Huzhou Railway is an integral part of the regional high speed railway passenger transport network as well as another external high speed passenger transport corridor in the Yangtze River Delta region following the Beijing-Shanghai HSR, Shanghai-Wuhan-Chengdu Railway and Shanghai-Hangzhou-Changsha Railway. Located in the core area of Yangtze River Delta, the railway starts from Shanghai Hongqiao Station in the east and goes west through Wujiang District, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province to Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province. With a total length of 163.5 km and a design speed of 350 km/h, the feasibility study of the railway was approved in October, 2018.
